While summer was full of sunny cruising days we now removed as much as possible from the boat to prevent it from getting moist and mouldy. That means non of the cruising essentials is left: no cushions or blankets, no BBQ, no stereo, we did not even leave the floor.
Now in winter it’s racing time: and that means a lot of lessons to learn! The rules are not easy…
Huge thanks to Andrew Madding for being out there and taking photos! Here, here, and here, …
In October Jo and Anni came visiting: our last cruise of the year. Although it was already quite cold and RAINY, it was nice being with old friends again and we had a beautiful time – and finally some sun!
For the easter weekend we got the RVYC crane to lift our little boat out of the water and reserved some foreshore cradle time. This means five days of intense work to brush her up and get her ready to sail. Just the right kind of holiday.
This is what the first day looked like – lot of work still ahead.
